This part has different functions, depending on the movement :

- It is the jewel for oscillating weight, upper, for all following calibers (pierre de masse oscillante, dessus pour tous les calibres suivants) :

- it is the jewel for driving gear of crown wheel, upper, for the following caliber (pierre de mobile entraineur de roue de couronne, dessus) :
